Women and Girls Against Violence

Are you afraid of a violent attack?

Do you know how to avoid and prevent physical assault?

Would you know how to respond if a mugger suddenly jumped out from ...

Kate Pascal, self defense behind a bush, from the back of a car, or from the shadow of a building?

It's no secret that we are living in increasingly dangerous times.

I wish it weren't so, and I am sure you do, too.

My name is Kate Pascal,

      I am a high-school language teacher, and I am a mother.

Long ago, I decided I would do what it takes to be safe and to protect my loved ones.

My husband, Keith Pascal, also decided to help people lead safer lives -- lives free from fear.

Keith wrote a parable, to help mothers (and their children) feel safer and more confident.

Enter Tiptoeing to Tranquility

This is a story about a mother and daughter who want to find safety and comfort in dangerous times, in their city, and any place they visit.

And the mother, Danielle, is insistent that they don't take martial-arts lessons.

They end up taking lessons from Sam ... a martial arts expert. They don't learn martial arts from Sam, but rather lessons in Tiptoeing to Tranquility.

As Danielle, and her daughter, Jessie, journey through entertaining lessons in finding security in their city, you will pick up valuable tips to apply to your own life.

Imagine leading a more tranquil life, free from fear.

Tiptoeing to Tranquility is the story that will show you how. (Besides editing his book, I am one of my husband's biggest fans. It's a great read.)

Tiptoeing is a book that needed to be written.

This is an easy-to-read parable. Our nine-year old daughter has read it.

Her safety is important to us, as I am sure you understand.
